Scouters Preschool provides safety and fun with a fenced backyard, creative Reggio Amelia curriculum, developmentally appropriate playgrounds, nutritional meals, and ample space for creative learning. This program curriculum is structured using the Reggio Emilia philosophy which is child-based and teacher facilitated.

Teacher Holly
Education: Holly Vaughn has received a M.S. in Psychology, specializing in Child Development, to continue using the latest research for child-centered curriculum, as well as a B.A. in Elementary Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Science, and K-8. She also has a B.S. in Science-Mathematics for Teaching.

Education: Holly Vaughn has received a M.S. in Psychology, specializing in Child Development, to continue using the latest research for child-centered curriculum, as well as a B.A. in Elementary Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Science, and K-8. She also has a B.S. in Science-Mathematics for Teaching.
Personal: Holly is a happy mother & wife. She is patient, caring, and has the perfect disposition to lead preschoolers. Holly loves to oil paint and often offers art studio classes to students, parents, and friends a few times/yr. She is excited you are interested in Scouters Preschool and is looking forward to meeting you!
Experience: Holly has taught first grade, was a child care director for a nationally accredited large center, a child care resource & referral coordinator in higher education, and the owner/teacher of Miles of Smiles Early Learning for 13 years. Holly creates curriculum blending the latest researched methods with the children's interests while often bringing in specialists for supplemental programs. Excellent referrals given upon request.
